Matthew Parker is an associate in Schenck Price's Litigation Department. While Matt’s practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, he also provides representation to clients in employment litigation, premises liability, insurance coverage and professional liability matters.
Matt has experience representing a variety of clients, including large multinational corporations, prominent small businesses and local government entities. Matt has provided representation to clients who operate in the insurance, construction, transportation and healthcare industries on matters including the enforcement of arbitration provisions, prosecuting breach of contract actions, defending against employment discrimination claims and opposing claims for defense and indemnification. In addition to vigorously litigating on his clients' behalf, Matt also counsels clients on legal issues, and assists in creating and implementing effective strategies and solutions to avoid disputes from arising.
While in law school, Matt was the Projects Editor for the American Journal of Law and Medicine. He also competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, the Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition and the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition, where he won the Best Brief Award.
