Eileen Kuzma is Counsel in Schenck Price’s General Litigation Department, with a concentration in appellate matters, legal research and brief writing, encompassing a wide array of practice areas. She has extensive experience in the defense of claims against public entities, including civil rights claims, police liability and negligence actions against governing bodies and school boards. Eileen's practice also involves defense of insurance matters, premises liability and general negligence claims in state and federal courts.
Eileen received her B.S. in Biology, from Manhattan College, graduating with Honors, including cum laude distinction, in 1994. She received her J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1997, where she also attained a Certificate in Health Care Law.
Eileen's notable reported decisions include Delvalle v. Trino, 474 N.J. Super. 124 (App. Div. 2022); Brazza v. Kagen, 2023 N.J. Super. LEXIS 1144 (App. Div. 2023); Ross v. Lowitz, 222 N.J. 494 (2015); Agha v. Feiner, 198 N.J. 50 (2009); Gerber ex rel. Gerber v. Springfield Bd. Of Education, 328 N.J. Super. 24 (App. Div. 2000) and Wildoner v. Borough of Ramsey, 162 N.J. 375 (2000).
Eileen is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New Jersey (1997), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (1997) and the courts of the State of New York (1998).
