• Eliyahu Prero is an associate in Schenck Price’s Medical Malpractice and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. Eli has experience in appellate practice, medical malpractice defense, environmental law, contract review in anticipation of litigation, and municipal practice. Following law school, Eli served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Sarlo, J.S.C. in the Bergen County vicinage. As a law clerk, Eli participated in drafting opinions for the complex commercial docket and enjoyed serving as a court-approved mediator for the Special Civil Part Division. He had prior experience as a law clerk at a New York firm.

    Eli earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, which he attended on the Trustee Scholarship. Eli graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif with a concentration in intellectual property law. At graduation he received the Law and Technology award for superior academic achievement in the field of Law and Technology: Intellectual Property Law. While in law school he received the Excellence in Torts award and the Excellence in Property award. Eli was also a summer intern at his father’s firm in Chicago.

    Prior to attending law school, Eli was a college-level instructor at AHS-Genesis Institute as well as a financial coach. He is a member of the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court. A firm believer in giving back, Eli recently volunteered to serve as an Oral Argument Judge for Seton Hall Law's Appellate Advocacy Program.
