• Crystal Alonso, an associate at Schenck Price, concentrates her practice in the areas of insurance defense and environmental law. Prior to joining Schenck Price, Crystal practiced for several years at a firm that served as counsel for one of the largest transportation carriers in the world, where she handled bodily injury cases arising out of trucking accidents, premises liability, and general liability matters. Crystal also worked for law firms where she acquired extensive experience defending the rights of law enforcement officers, school employees, and other public employees against disciplinary charges, tenure charges, and other employment-related matters. As such, Crystal’s litigation experience includes the handling of civil rights matters where she has litigated state claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful termination, and breach of contract. At the outset of her career, Crystal successfully represented countless individuals charged with a wide array of criminal offenses.

    Crystal earned her law degree as well as a Master in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School. While in law school, Crystal completed an internship with the Office of the New York State Attorney General, Environmental Protection Bureau. She also spent a semester abroad studying international comparative law at McGill University Faculty of Law in Montréal, Québec. Additionally, during her final year of law school, Crystal worked as a legislative analyst/lobbyist for the Vermont School Boards Association.
