Partner Edward W. Ahart recently closed an $18 million sale of a 179-acre property in Somerset County, New Jersey. The complex transaction took nearly eight years to come to fruition due to complications including changes in the purchaser, litigation, amendments, and numerous approvals by both municipal and state regulatory agencies. The property, formerly known as the Millington Quarry, involved the reclamation of 100 acres and a plan to develop the property into a proposed mixed land use.
