Partner John D. (Jake) McCarthy argued before the Supreme Court of New Jersey on January 17, 2024. Jake and Partner Joseph Maddaloni Jr. represent the Township of Neptune.  They asked the court to affirm the decision of the Appellate Division in Savage v. Neptune, which held that the non-disparagement clause in a settlement agreement is enforceable despite a recent amendment to the state’s Law Against Discrimination.
